Lou is Fresh Meat in the Tasmanian Gothic Short Script Challenge 2016.Lou Murphy is a versatile screen, theatre and award-winning fiction writer. Her short stories have been published in various anthologies including Contemporary Fables Vol. 1 GC, Haunted Rock - a collaborative art project devised by Amy Spiers, and online Austwomenwriters Feb 21 AWW crime round-up. She has also worked as a script editor; and is a regular contributor to the Newtown Review of Books. Projects currently in development include The Weekend Witch - a paranormal erotica web series slated for production late 2016; and co-writer on Faces in the Shadows for Queensland Theatre Company in affiliation with the Indigenous Mentorship artistic development program. In 2014 she was commissioned to co-write a Horror Feature script currently in pre-production. She is a member of the AWG and an alumni of Varuna and QUT.
