Alexander was a first time participant in the Tasmanian Gothic Short Script Challenge 2016.Alex has studied as a playwright at ATYP with Tommy Murphy and Debra Oswald, and studied as an actor at VCA. He received Australia Council development funding in 2013 for his site-specific play dealing with domestic violence. He’s also written for web series The Bench, directed by Nicholas Hope, developed a feature with Michael Howe, and studied screenwriting at RMIT in 2014-15.
